How Do I Make a Profit From a Trading System?

The way i run my system is probably a bit different from the way that adoman and s other people run it. I produce a forecast, which is a like a rist normalized estimate of where i think the market's going to go in the future. That forecast has a strength, so it can be weak or strong or very strong. And if you think about it in simple trend following terms, then it's quite clear that tht the forecast will be stronger the stronger the trend is.
