Jim Bowie and the War Party

In 1835, 100 citizens of Nacodoches declared themselves a militia and they vote Jim Bowie to be their colonel. Now he immediately his first act is colonel is to rob a Mexican government storehouse of muskets. And the government considered this to be him inciting violence, which is pretty fair way to call it.
