Is There a Connection Between Clinical and Academic Medicine?

i find it's really helpful for me to have the clinical side, where i see the impact of what i do. Got this little inkling of an idea that something will work better than the current technique and i just need to run an c t. My grandmother died of briskhe i always wondered why she got this treatment and not the other can i do my own research, research project? Can i do a systematic review, which will easily take a hundred hours? N ours lake, ok. And it'salittle bit sad from our end, cause, i mean, we do, i'm a scientist, make and i are scientists.
