The Hintakleifach Genocide
The Gruber Gabrielle family were murdered on March 31, 1922. The Hintakleifach farmstead was demolished in 1923 and the land is now used for agriculture. A wayside shrine to the victims still stands at the site of the former property. In recent years a local guide has begun offering ghost tours of the site.
