Redding's Life and Times
The writing credit was changed to be Naomi Neville, one of the pseudonyms Toussaint used. By this point Redding was getting steady work and becoming a popular live act. He'd put together his own band and a dast Jenkins to join, but Jenkins didn't want to play second fiddle to him so stopped being invited as well. For Eddie Kirkland, who had previously played with John Lee Hooker, he recorded under the name Eddie Kirk.
