Samadhi is somewhat like consciously going into deep sleep, where you can shut down these experiences and remain as pure consciousness. The yogi can cultivate that. Advaita says the whole question is twisted. Why? You are desperately trying to have Turium in itself without these things. It's only in the knowing that we get to the reality of it. Not... Ah! Don't try to change your experience. That's the yogi mentality.
