The Secret Sauce of Shooting a Film

I'm drawn to play like stories and I'm drawn to a process that allows me to iterate so having a cabin that we built and then we built again in the forest really allowed me to kind of keep thinking about ideas and redoing things. Having that building the sets and keeping them there is really a part of the secret sauce. You never know if it's going to be developed properly or whether there will be some kind of light leak. For me nothing can nothing can touch film in terms of its emotional emotional impact because it is an organic chemical thing that's happening with film. It conjures emotions that a digital camera can't do.
