Middle Leaders Are There for a Reason

As a senior leader, you middle leaders are there for a reason. They're there because you want them to take something on board themselves. And that means that there are going to be occasions where you think they take something tey run with it and it isn't done in exactly the way that you had visualized or int that you would have done it yourself. There has to be room for a little bit of productive failureinin what's going on. I'd say, beyond that, clear expectations of what you want from them in all sorts of circumstances.
