Robert Colville said that to the best of his knowledge, the Center for Policy Studies had not taken money from all had dealings with the Mercer family. The whole response struck me as utterly implausible and nonsensical, really. It was that foundation that gave you 16 grand a couple of years ago. You know, when you were writing that manifesto, they were funded by the Mercer's. And so I put all this to him. And he just essentially repeated what he said, and then just added the phrase directly and indirectly - which is interesting because I was actually just telling him, and this is presumed on its face that this is taking her face value.
