Alan Rickman's Death
Alan Rickman died of cancer on January 14th, 2016. The pancreatic cancer was only discovered after a minor stroke in 2015 and Rickman only told his closest friends and family. Harry Potter author JK Rowling tweeted, There are no words to express how shocked and devastated I am to hear of Alan Rickman's death. He was a magnificent actor and a wonderful man. My thoughts are with Rima and the rest of Alan's family. We have all lost a great talent and they have lost a part of their hearts.
