The Importance of Care in the Age of Euthanasia
The idea that you would care for somebody at the end of their life would just seem to be quite bizarre. It's not so much, I think, a post-Christian idea but a pre-Christian idea because this is where Christianity came in. People would leave their children and the elderly just to die, to die of exposure. You're supposed to care for them and we're going back there.
