You and I are not not theist. So we don't think we're going to get rewarded in the next life for it. But isn't it better to do it because it's the right thing to do and you feel good doing that as opposed to some external reward? And if you if you save somebody's life, the little joy you get out of it is so negligible compared to somebody's life being saved That's a win-win situation. It's easiest to convince people to do it.
