Jacob Handy lost his vision when he was 10 years old. His father has taught him to ski since then, but never a blind child. He says it's been 'scary' at times and sometimes takes them a minute to find their way down the slopes. But they've learned to listen for danger - other skiers, churning of lift or icy conditions under foot.
