Why Do We Love?

For most of the last two thousand 400 years, almost no major thinker doubted that it is. In a short essay, i cannot do more than point to some of the answers that have been given to this question. But suffice it to say there have been six principal series of love since hebrew scripture and greek thought. All of which very much address just this question, what exactly inspires love? Very briefly and therefore over simply, here are their answers.
