The Importance of Standpoint Epistemology

Sally Kohn: I love that you mentioned standpoint philosophy because that is both the cause and the solution in many respects. Can you explain what that means and how it's connected to the argument? She says as a cis straight white man, I am going to have a certain set of experiences and see the world in a certain kind of way. And our predicament is that we have no choice but to see the world through human perspectives - yet we still have power over the entire rest of the world.
