The Cab Rank Rule and the Anti-Slaps Amendment
I'm a cab rancor to the nth degree and not just because it's a regulation but actually it's an ethical principle. Lawyers often have to act on behalf of client against public interest requiring somehow claimant lawyers to apply a sort of a public interest filter on the cases that they bring. To my mind will be entirely retrograde and isn't necessary for those cases that are issued and brought before the courts. I'd be very nervous about the regulators thinking they should start to step in imposing new duties in that area.
