The Importance of Public Radio Codes of Conduct
In general, I don't really think employers should have latitude over what people do outside of work. Everybody who works for a public radio member station has to sign these codes of conduct. There's this very weird, very entitled idea that any attempt to regulate what journalists say on Twitter is sort of like a horseshoe thing. We're like, lefties will often accurately point out that righties cry free speech when it doesn't apply.
