What Is Cognitive Load on Teams?
Manuel: We need to start by sort of assessing what is cognitive load on teams. Can be a variety of things where the team is kind of struggling. If there's too much code that you need to be responsible for, then you probably don't have enough understanding to actually support it effectively. And obviously also we might have a team that has too much too large part of a system that they're responsible for. Manuel: Most of the patterns and ideas we talk about in the book are effectively helping minimize cognitive load for some of the teams in the organization.
