Why China Isn't Reopening
Eric Liu: Maybe this is the reason that China isn't reopening. When we're scratching our heads saying, well, China staying locked down makes no sense. The Chinese leadership is first and foremost worried about inflation. Once they've prepared, they're going to come out of lockdown. If it unleashes an inflation, how could it not when you consider that it's got to drive oil prices dramatically higher?
