The Bifurcation of the AI Industry

The benefits of AI technology have been pretty widely distributed because these systems proliferate so quickly. The models that are trained are put open source online, on to repositories where anyone can download them and use them. And once a model's been trained, it can be modified pretty easily and pretty cheaply. So I think we are likely to be in a place going forward when we see a bifurcation of the industry. We still have a really thriving and active open source ecosystem that everyone can benefit from.
