Trump's Strategy for the Republican Debate

John Avlon: Ron DeSantis has started to talk to more people and I think that's a good thing. He says Donald Trump may actually participate in the first Republican debate next month for two reasons. The only moment coming up for the trajectory of this campaign to change, he says, would be if Trump isn't there. Avlon: If DeSantis does make it an attack,Trump can then come down on him like a ton of bricks or maybe just end his campaign.
