Research shows that using smart phones to perform mentally taxing tasks like scrolling thog ial media, can have a detrimental effect on athletic performance. If you are not quite ready to uninstall instrogram and tick talk, i would recommend not using social media for at least 30 minutes before your workouts. And it's probably better if you don't mindlessly serf the web and look for random vidios to watch while you are doing a workout as well.
