The Importance of Cultural Pluralism

Cultural pluralism is the idea of integration that we live together, right? We respect each other's culture and there is of course the dominant culture But no one is interfering with how people live their lives. Assimilation is really losing your original identity but like kind of like washing it out or hiding it Trying to take on the characteristics of a dominant society so that you don't seem different. Chris: I think English has a huge part in this conversation because people are signaling they're different than me which ultimately creates resistance.
