Jonathan: I'm fascinated by just how we layer these assumptions and expectations into relationships in a way that culturally we're told is the way to do it. Science says, no, if anything, they're going to help support that relationship. Once we're grownups, it just feels so much harder than it did as a kid to find those relationships. Jonathan: Friendship in adulthood does not happen organically. You have to try. People are less likely to reject you than you think.
