How to Choose Between RAM and Long Term Memory
The ability to have bigger token sized inputs could be the shorter term sort of like RAM. So the vector database could be the long term memory. And with similar recall times, right, like one's a lot faster, one's a bit slower. How do you decide though, what what to store in RAM versus long term long term memory potentially? All my thinking would be this is if we talk about in the general intelligence context, I would allow the AI to make its own decisions about that.
