The Nested Events of Our Lives

In a Gipsonian ecological sense, we don't really perceive time. Time is an abstraction that scientists like physicists really need. What we perceive are the events that are going on in our lives. And there are ongoing events at all times. So maybe it is that not so much that we remember that thing is that we're still sort of nested in that event.
