Jimi Hendrix: I was kind of the Timothy Leary of UCLA. We were all into Psychedelics and stuff, but John and I had been into it for a year or two before that. So we were kind of getting tired of it. That's when John and I started looking for something else, meditation, TM. The first time Maharishi had come to LA and it was at my friend's house. It was maybe 12 people there. And among those 12 was me, Ray and John.
