The book is written for successors to a family in business or the next generation of successors. I don't like the term next generation, which is commonly used particularly by those providing services. As you begin to move away from running it yourself, you need good people to do governance and unify families together. It's not just about talking up or saying, aren't we great, we own this and we don't; it's about sharing real-life experiences that work well and didn't go well.
