Harry Harlow's the Wire Mother Experiment

In 19 58, harry harlow conducted what was called the the wire mother experiment. Instead of having actual monkey mothers in the cage with the baby monkey, he put two fake mothers inso think of it like this, you have a cage, you've got a new born monkey. This monkey doesn't know anything other than this cage. This is its world. And as soon as that cloth, softk mother monkey was present, the baby was not anxious, not afraid, felt safe and started to develop the confidence to kind of explore its surroundings a bit.
