Why Theranos Isn't Doing Tests on the Edison Machines
An insider from Theranos sent emails to Wall Street Journal, accusing the company of even manipulating their proficiency testing results. Some sources claim that not only were the Edison's inaccurate, but they would fall apart. The late biochemist Ian Gibbons was also hired as a member of the Theranos advisory board. His widow claimed that her husband said nothing was working when referring to Theranos' technology. By the end of 2014, Theranos had apparently done less than 10% of their tests on their own machines,. including ones for cancer and pregnancy.
