Lee Identified Walker as a Future Hitler

President Kennedy and General Walker hardly shared a common political ideology. Lee may have thought that he'd identified Walker as a future Hitler who needed to be stopped before he could ascend to power. There were fears of a hardcore right wing former military man gaining the presidency, possibly even by force.
