What Is the President in the United States?

The president in the United States is, of course, the chief executive of the country. Other countries have presidents and it's sometimes more a ceremonial role or a role that isn't quite as powerful as the U.S presidency is. In Israel, for instance, there is a prime minister and a president. He'd be the person who fulfills many of the functions of meeting foreign dignitaries of traveling.
