Using Dexamethasone in Spinal Cord Injuries

The use of dexamethasone in both cervical spinalosis, lumbar spinalosis, metastatic disease has been widely practiced. A recent Cochrane study said you have to be a little careful because there's a significant number of adverse effects for long-term steroid use. The new baby on the block, so to speak, is immunotherapy and the immunotherapy is really taken hold especially in neurologically stable, multilevel spinal cord injuries or compression from metastatic disease.
