The voyager one probe is currently over 14 billion miles, or over 22 billion kilometers, away from the earth as we speak right now. It has been collecting data on interstellar space and it's discovered a hum there. The humming comes from ripples within this kind of ironized gas called plasma that exists between stars. And what exactly is causing it is currently unknown just yet.
