House School Is a Major Source of Stress for Students
I've seen the amount of students who suffer with mental health as a result of being in certain types of lessons and being forced to learn in a certain type of way. I don't know what the current statistics are, but the numbers of hundreds and thousands of kids who call child line every year with exam anxiety should not be underestimated. And if they leave school with the impression that,. you know, the most important thing they learned at school was that they're stupid then that's our fault. That's a shameful side effect, an unacceptable, toxic side effect of the way we've organized our education.
