MQTT: A Message Queue Protocol
MQ and MQTT stands for message queue, right? So that would mean there's some kind of queue. But I mean, how does that kind of work? It's not a direct exchange. There is, there has to be an MQTT broker,. And it sits somewhere on the network that all the clients must meet to. They can basically publish or subscribe to what are called topics.
