The War of Jenkins-Ere

In 1740, England and Spain were looking to go to war over any old shit. They sent this squadron of ships to basically steal Spanish galleon that went back and forth to the Philippines with a lot of silver on it. The whole thing was a mess, because we didn't have enough sailors, so they had to press gang all these- it's a great story. It gave me like, oh, Bradin vibes, you know, with the shipwreck and the survivors. I really recommend the book, actually. He does pick it up in the airport and read it on the flight back. Honestly, he love this kind of stuff. That's cool. No romance
