The exploit uses the m s m sd prodical handler. This does not involve any like a visual basic for application code, or any ex for macrols. There is no use in eaction before the code is being executed. The most obvious way to defend against exploitation is to remove that m s m s d t prodical scheme. And this will break the exploit.
