CHAPTER

The Feminine Mystique in American Women at the Dawn of the 60s

I know you talk a little bit about feminism. My most recent book was called A Strange Stirring, The Feminine Mystique in American Women at the Dawn of the 60s. I did interviews with many women and men who read Betty Friedan's The Feminine Mystery. Today when I reread it, it's like duh, it's not particularly inspiring.
