Film Review - Is This a Feminist Film?
This is the first time she's done it the other way round. She plays very cunningly with your preconceptions. The subtlety in this script what makes it drama, as opposed to melodrama. I mean, benedict cumberbatch plays a character who has erhe's not quite electively mute,. But he's getting close, isn't he? We he's very taciturn. And you believe fully, i think i'd certainly believed fully that i knew where it was going, and my god, it doesn't go there. You don't get quite enough information about each character to be able to sort of fully form. There are shades of broke back here.
