Is There a Stick for Getting It Wrong?

There's a pushback against ESG which is being branded by some folks on the right as quote unquote, woke capital. Some of them are just algorithms calculating it based on, I don't know what, but that in itself is not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is there is no real stick for getting it wrong. But if you are using your ESG metrics alongside 10 other factors to make a decision, you won't be able to tell whether it was the ESG metric. That's why having a regulator is so important.
