The Power of Rest

Both passivity and presumptuousness don't equal rest, but there is a type of reliance upon the Lord that does bring about rest. In fact, the Psalm shows in verse two that exertion that depends on the Lord will also include rest. Although they lead, the faithful lead a laborious life, yet followed their vocations with composed and tranquil minds. Thus their hands are not idle, but their minds repose as if they were asleep.
