How to Short Circuit a Trademark Process

Twitter has filed for a trademark on the letter X, but it's unclear if they are using Unicode or just Monotype. Microsoft and Meta also have trademarks on things with Xs in them as they relate to social networking. Twitter can't use those logos because no one is going to confuse this X logo for that logo. Elon Musk says his problem is actually making anyone associate the letter X with the thing that used to be Twitter.
