The Fed's Lever to Deal With Supply Side Inflation Issues

The fed does not have the ability to deal with some of these structural supply side issues if you were the fed. Anything they do wouldn't be over a short period of time or short enough period of time and so they pull the lever that they have. The idea that what we're going to do is actually create type money which will reduce the incentive to supply to create supply over time is actually an inefficient way of doing it.
