The Relationship Between Habit and Temperament
I think it would, you know there was a famous philosopher named Wittgenstein who thought of philosophy as something like a kind of therapy. And although I didn't have that idea in mind when I made my remarks a few moments ago, what you said reminds me of this therapeutic conception of philosophy. There is a way in which what we're doing in philosophy is not inventing ourselves or exploring ourselves, but we are doing work that lets us grow and maybe change and reorganize to use terms that I like.
