I feel like I really struggled initially when I started playing with Slash because I was trying to be more of a quote unquote, front man. And I'll never forget it as long as that we put, we play to gig at the gorge, open for Aerosmith. "If you want to see something really funny, watch the first Alta Bridge video, watch open your eyes," he says. You would have had been looked at as the guy who had to be the new golden god if Led Zeppelin hadn't gone on and found Jason Bonham.
