The Bronze Age Sardinians
Sardinia is just over 100 miles off the coast of Italy. The Bronze Age goes back to like 1800 BC, right? Right, exactly, 4000 years ago. When Sardinia really served almost as a cradle of civilization and a real nexus of exchange there in the Mediterranean for many cultures. You can't go more than a mile anywhere in Sardinia without passing these Bronze Age towers that are called neurogies.
