The FTE Number Is a Good Measure of FTE Revenue Per Employee

The FTE metric comes from the presumption that 40 hours a week is the standard work week so if you have two people that work 20 hours a week effectively that's one FTE. I think it's good to keep the administrative people in the FTE number because again if you start diverting and you and you add three people for administrative purposes  you wouldn't see the load that's creating, he says.
