After the 20 16 election, it was more clear than ever that we were in somewhat of a rose coloured glass ceiling where we hadn't moved at all. The only thing that's happening is their being distracted from actually making material change in the background. I think this is particularly interesting in the context of the 20 ten self help boom, where everything was about being a bad asket shed done in shark tank america. And no, this kind of a circle too, like extremist religions, in a sense, a where i think that these are the spaces with extreme opportunities for abuses of power. Vulnerable people go to be saved, to be helped, to make progress when they do not know
