A but What We Can Do?

I don't think it's possible. If we could have converted afghanistan into a prosperous, functioning democracy, we would not be in this mess right now. I was very much against the invasion of irak when george w. Bush was president. But i was in favor of the invasion of afghanistan on the thought that, a, the terrorists who were base in afghanistan had just done a terrible terrorist attack against us. We should worry about acting in the good ways ourselves, and maybe the world will follow us.
